ON THE RUNWAY: Burberry Prorsum Fall 2012
Photographed by Evan Sung
Giles Deacon’s fall 2012 collection went from menswear inspired tuxedo looks,to form fitted dresses, to feminine pieces done in oversized proportions all dotted with his glamourous evening dresses. With a palette of black, icy blue, beige, and prints that were multi-colored, the looks were innovative and enchanting even if some of them had been made to look like they had been burned.

Douglas Hannant Fall 2012 via Vogue.
“Rich, meaty sportswear came as a big surprise at Douglas Hannant, where wool plaid peacoats, short wrapped skirts and a camel cable-knit cashmere sheath were all quite a contrast to those pretty prim suits and dresses that keep his core customers close. While he did mix in some urban ladylike clothes, they paled next to Hannant’s sportier looks.”
